Main Events
Champion CH & Advanced ADV
(New Double Elimination più Consolation). Players eliminated from Main sheet will play Second Chance. First two players of the main tournament and the first two of the Second Chance tournament qualify for the "Final Four". All those eliminated from the previous two phases will play the Consolation. Second Chance and Consolation are progressive, losers in an advanced position fall respectively into an equally advanced position.
• Champion category match points: 11 main, 9 Second Chance, 7 Consolation, "Final Four" 13/15.
• Advanced category match points: 9 main, 7 Second Chance, 5 Consolation, "Final Four" 9/11.

Players leaving the playing area: must notify the Tournament Director.

Play will resume promptly at 9:30 PM: When play resumes, maximum punctuality is required. Any delays will result in
penalty points being applied. -
Breaks: One 5-minute break per player in 7-point and 11-point matches.

The Organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule, format, or structure of the event if necessary.

Tournament matches take precedence over all other activities.

Streaming: players selected for streaming or broadcast are required to comply with organizational requirements.

Ranking points valid for the 2026 Italian Championship will be awarded in the 21st Milan Open (Champion and Advanced), CNB Open and Goodbye Milano tournaments.

How to reach Abacus Hotel
By plane
From Milan Malpensa Airport:
Take the Malpensa Express train and get off at Cadorna. From here, take the red line 1 subway heading towards Sesto and get off at the terminus. Abacus Hotel is only 50 meters from the stop. Cost € 15. Time: 55 minutes
From Linate airport:
take the official taxis (white) and in 20/25 minutes you’ll be at a cost of € 30-35 (metered)
By public transport:
Take Metro Line 4 from Linate and change at “San Babila” to Line 1 Red towards Sesto FS/1° Maggio.
Get off at the terminus. The Abacus is 50 metres from the exit.
Cost € 2.20 Journey time about 40 minutes
From Orio al Serio airport:
Take the BUS -just outside the arrival lounge- to Bergamo railway station (15 minutes € 2,30). Then regular trains to Milan will drop you at the Sesto Railway station, just 100 mt from Abacus Hotel. (One hour trip, € 4,80)
By train
From Garibaldi Station in Milan:
Direct trains journey of only 10 minutes until Sesto Station.
From the Central Station of Milan:
1) take the train to Milan Garibaldi Station (first stop) and change to Sesto San Giovanni, always with surface railways (second stop). Time 25 minutes
2) take the train to Lambrate Station of Milan (first stop) and change to Sesto San Giovanni, always with surface railways. Time 20 minutes
3) take the train to Monza and change to Sesto San Giovanni, always with surface railways.Time 20 minutes.
4) Alternatively, take the green line 2 subway towards Gessate / Cologno and get off at Loreto. From there take the red line 1 subway heading towards Sesto and get off at the terminus. Abacus Hotel is only 50 meters from the station. Time 25 minutes
With the € 2.20 ticket you can travel on all public transport, including all the Metro lines and urban trains in the city area, up to/from Hotel Abacus and to/from the stops of RHO- Fiera (both by Metro and by train) Linate and Assago.
The ticket allows multiple access to public transport, including Metro and trains, for 90 minutes from the first stamping.
Children up to the age of 13 do not pay.
By car
From the A4 motorway, the ring road or the NORTH EAST Milan bypass exit at Sesto San Giovanni and follow signs to Stazione FS – May 1st.:
The hotel is 5 minutes from the intersection of Highways exits.
