How to reach Hotel Cetus

By train: Take the Frecciarossa high-speed train to Salerno, then either the Sita Sud bus line from the station to Cetara (travel time approximately 20–25 minutes), or a taxi (cost between €55 and €70). For group arrivals, a shuttle can be arranged with the hotel.

By plane: Fly into Naples Airport or Salerno Airport. The best option from there is to rent a car.

By car: Drive to Naples and take the A3 motorway (Naples–Salerno), exit at Vietri sul Mare, and follow the signs to Amalfi.

Naples Airport Closure in November

How to Reach Cetara

During the month of November, Naples Airport will be closed due to scheduled maintenance works. We therefore recommend checking the availability of flights to Salerno Costa d'Amalfi Airport, or alternatively travelling directly to Salerno railway station by high-speed train.

Cetara is approximately a 20-minute taxi ride from Salerno and can also be reached by scheduled bus services or by ferry. Although ferry services continue to operate outside the summer season, they run on a reduced timetable.

We recommend that participants consider the following travel options.

By Air

Preferred option: Fly to Salerno Costa d'Amalfi Airport, if flights are available from your city.

  • Distance from the airport to Cetara: approximately 25–30 km

  • Taxi: around 30–40 minutes

  • Alternatively, take a train to Salerno, then continue by bus or taxi

  • Another option: fly to Rome Fiumicino Airport, then take a high-speed train to Salerno

By Train

The easiest option is to travel to Salerno railway station by high-speed train.

From Salerno, you can reach Cetara in three ways:

  • Ferry (Travelmar or Grassi Junior), with a crossing time of approximately 15 minutes. Ferry services normally operate throughout the year, although schedules are reduced outside the summer season and may be subject to change in the event of rough seas. The ferry terminal is just a few minutes' walk from Salerno railway station, making this a particularly convenient option for those arriving by train. Before travelling, we recommend checking the latest timetable on the official Travelmar website.

  • SITA Sud bus, with a stop in the centre of Cetara.

  • Taxi, approximately 20 minutes from Salerno railway station.

Shuttle Service

Upon request, a shared shuttle service from Salerno to Cetara can be arranged for groups of players arriving at compatible times.
